Diocese of Sacramento Seminarian Ryan Mahar describes the comfort provided by his relationship with Mama Mary, and how that comfort helps him get through life.

BTS Intern Meg Arguelles shares with all of us her reflection on the Lord's words "I thirst." She reminds us what we should truly be thirsting for even though at times we might forget. #TheThirstIsReal.

Seminarian Michael Ortiz - "It is finished."

Sacramento Seminarian Michael Ortiz reflects on Jesus' words from the Cross: "It is finished." Reflecting on the death of his father, Michael reminds us that Christ's death on the cross has gained us true and final victory.

Sister Armanda Santos, FSP - "Father, into your hands I commend my Spirit."


Sister Armanda Santos reflects on the call to give our whole lives to God. Using different images and a prayer of Paul VI she shows us how Christ handed his whole life over to the Father, reminding us that we too are called to do the same.

"My prayer for myself and for all of you, at the end of your lives, you too can say with Jesus, 'It is finished' I have accomplished the will of the Father."
