St. Dominic Pilgrimage

Come participate in this great Year of Faith event happening on Saturday, June 22. Want to go on a pilgrimage, but you don't have the time or money to head to another country? Well then  you just might want to take part in this event.

From the organizers:
Join us on a young adult pilgrimage for the Year of Faith on Saturday, June 22, 2013, along the Camino de Santo Domingo:  a 10.3 mile route that that we will walk from the Church of St. Vincent Ferrer in Vallejo to St. Dominic’s Church in Benicia.
This pilgrimage is an initiative of the Young Adult Ministries of the three Catholic parishes in Vallejo:  St. Basil the GreatSt. Catherine of Siena, and St. Vincent Ferrer.  We will stop at each parish on the way to St. Dominic’s to pray, to adore Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, to meditate on His Word, and to be reconciled to Him through the Sacrament of Penance.
Anyone can be a pilgrim with us on the Camino; however, all minors must be accompanied by their parent or guardian.  If you are physically unable to walk the entire Camino with us, you are invited to make your own pilgrimage to St. Dominic’s on June 22, 2013, and join us there for the 5:30 p.m. Mass after which we will pray together to gain the plenary indulgence and sign our names in the Pilgrim Book.
Awesome stuff, my friends. For more info, visit:
